Year 2 Southbound

From Puerto Rico we hopped back down through the Lesser Antilles again. Picking up two more islands we had missed on the previous trips - Barbuda and Saint Lucia.

On a beach in Saint John we met wild donkeys.

Saint Croix has lovely Danish architecture in the main town of Christiansted.

On one glorious day during a flat calm passage from Saba to Saint Martin we ran across a large pod of pilot whales and half an hour later a group of dolphin danced in Argo's bow wave.

Caribbean architecture continued to delight the eye ...

and we had some luck fishing to delight the tummy. This is a mahi mahi.

Scenes from Martinique

and from the Tobago Cays in the Grenadines.

And once more back at Crew's Inn for a bit of luxury during the hurricane season.

Now Argo is set to head west - perhaps by this time next year she will be in the Pacific. Who knows!
